Little Steps | Big Heart

For the last week I've been having all sorts of ideas for blogging - but different avenues I should say. I know right now I put any and everything on this one, but at the same time, would it be too much to have 3 different outlets? yea... that actually does sound like a lot to keep track of. hehe

Meh.

So... here's what I'm thinking.
I've been rounding up the bravery to start up a Youtube channel. Ideally this would have just been fitness based, but to be honest - I just wear too many damn hats so it will be fitness, food, adventure, diy's... every and anything. Furrealz. (Please ignore the silly writing today - I'm in a playful mood)
It's exciting to think of as recently I have also decided a whole new direction I am taking in terms of profession/lifestyle.

Blogging and personal vlogging have just always been 2 little side passions of mine that keeps me, my mind and my little bubble of an outlet sane. It's just nice to be able to share parts of my life with my readers - as I have always been a private person. Note to those that are private people - it isn't always such a good thing. Balance is key.

My love for food has grown over the past few years, and every time I eat out, I think about doing restaurant and food reviews - so that's a new outlet to look forward to on both my blog & my youtube (fingers crossed). We shall see - I should also say this includes a few cooking & baking segments as well.

In other news - and knock on wood - I've been feeling so good these past few weeks. I'm back at my training routine! I started to put a few things that have been stressing me out (work wise) in place and although at times I'm still on a 50/50 level, once the ball starts rolling I know everything is going to fall into place. The only problem is the wait. *twiddles thumbs*

Kind of feeling this post was pointless. :)
So I'll leave you with the last youtube video I watched.

At approximately 5 pm last evening, we packed the cooler, grabbed our blankets and headed to the old tracking station for a night of star gazing.
As P held my hand, we made our way up the hill through the lush green countryside, the temperature dropping, and in the silence, the sound of nature surrounded us. ♥

I layed out my mexican blanket, set up the chairs, organized the snacks and waited for the others to arrive.

In this moment, I shared a few real-time photographs of the settings via Snapchat & Instagram. A follower of mine commented in excitement, yet disappointed it was that night - and she was missing it.

Making her night a turn of spontaneity, I had an extra ticket.

It was surreal to actually meet Sarina - The Founder of Trini Gourmet !

As the presentations were taking place, interesting but too long - we got to chatting and I was shocked when she told me "I have so many questions for you." - Shocked because, it isn't often you meet someone who has an honest interest in what you do. I was silently flattered.

With the night progressing, the presentation finished, we were able to take some night sky photographs.
I was incredibly frustrated at my settings - nothing seemed to work for me and I blame the lenses I brought. :(
Regardless, the stars were spectacular and old satellite dish is always a beautiful subject.
So much history is written on these grounds.
We are lucky to be able to enjoy nights like this.
