Pumpkin Carving

Happy Monday ! Over the weekend I went to the Upick Farmacy in Chaguaramas for Pumpkin Carving ! I rounded up a friend and my nieces to come along, all the while figuring I was probably the most excited one.

Having reached early - we were able to go into the Pumpkin Patch to pick our own Pumpkins. How exciting ! I think it was right then I thought to myself  ' hmmmm, I should have worn sneakers! '

Today I am so excited to share with you a few photos and a video of my Pumpkin Carving experience.

Pumpkin Carving wasn't something we grew up doing in Trinidad, in fact, Halloween (besides the regular Trick-or-Treat / House to house candy hunts) -- oooooh how I miss being a kid -- it wasn't celebrated like it is in the U.S. But, over the years we have adopted a lot of celebrations.

Although it was messy and a little smelly, it was good fun ! But damn the Pumpkin guts gets everywhere ! My feet, hair and even in my handbag got a few pieces that I am still randomly finding. Ugh !

After the Pumpkin Carving we took the kids on a Tractor ride which ended up being shorter than we would have liked, but they seemed to enjoy it and being the coolest Aunty in the world, I couldn't be happier. :)

Hope you enjoyed a little peak into how I spent my weekend.
Have a wonderful week you guys !!
