Running with the Passion | Time To Do What I Love

by - Tuesday, November 29, 2016

For as long as I know, I have been bugged about when would I get serious with my photography and do it as a profession.

For me, it had always been the hobby, passion and joy of snapping pictures and it was something I didn't want to ruin.

Many years have passed and photography is still very strong in my veins. Now, in life, I have been told we are born with gifts and to use them. Photography and writing are just a few of my gifts. I was born one of those "hat hoarders" if you wish, and find myself in all sorts of stuff.

As I have mentioned in my last post, I am moving on from retail and ready to pursue what I was born to do !

Last night I gave myself that "That's it !" attitude. I fixed my photographs and some pieces and bought another website (I'm Godaddy's best customer, btw) lol -- and I worked on it for hours ! Now, it's finally complete ! -- My Portfolio

I am happy and I am ready to bring in the new year with more happiness and to start doing what I love.

With all that said, I have a few prints ready for sale here !

And I figure with the Christmas season approaching, how about this lovely Christmas card?

  1. Hey! You sound like me in a way, I get an idea in my head and I try hard to go for it! I absolutely love photography, have my own Nikon DSLR and my kids are my best work in photography! Good look in your ventures and your new website! I've stopped by from the Lady Bloggers Network. :)

  2. Lou...I love this! I think you'll do amazingly with it. You have an eye for it and I love your pics.

For me, I love writing, art and photography...I guess all of this falls under Art. I am at the moment trying to find where I fit. Hopefully, over Christmas break I'll get that 'Aha' moment that I so desperately crave.

Very best of luck with your new business.

(you may want to update your Disqus link, I couldn't get it to work for me! : / ) Wow, making that jump to being a full-timer with a creative passion is such a big and amazing step! I am so happy for you (headed to your portfolio next!)! I do invitations and stationery and I have just been doing it part time but would like to shift to full-time in the near(ish) future. :) XO - Alexandra
