Welcoming 2017 With Open Arms

This Christmas break was so beautiful and amazing. Everyday there was either a family get together or an event we had to attend. It kept us busy but also it was such a joyful season that it was full of love and happiness.

I kept in touch with an old friend from High School who was visiting for the Christmas and we got to catch up over Brunch. It was truly a magical season, I tell you !

Old years night we got together with a few friends and went to Dinner & after P and myself went by my sister to 'ring in the New Year'.

As the new year rolled in, I turned a new leaf. I started to eat Vegan again - and I don't know what it was but I have no desire to 'cheat'... literally, it's like an overnight change.

I took that first week in January and just focused a little more on my goals. It started off doing good deeds everywhere I went. From helping the homeless to a lady trying to reach an item on the top shelf in the grocery store. Just walked with a smile and a helping hand.

I know something big is going to happen this year... positive greatness and my brother keeps pushing me to go to another Life in the Spirit Seminar. So... I finally made it to one that began last week. I am looking forward to the next 8 weeks of my life & getting closer to God.

Ohhh, so last week I *finally* made it back to the gym !! Hooray !! Taking it slow and easy but so nice to see familiar faces again. This rounds I decided I will take full advantage of my membership so why not join the Zumba class!

So let's just say my first day at Zumba I had a ball ! Talk about uncoordinated & silly but by the 2nd to last song I was revved up and ready to dance ! haha  I feel so great as now I am part of their Zumba family. It's so nice to be a part of something. I really missed that.

I took a little on & off break from blogging because I really didn't know where I wanted to stand anymore. With the blog, with life, with photography, with a potential job, with making almond milk, with doing something creative.... you get the point. I just want to do everything, but that isn't possible.

And you know what I came to realize, that not everything I 'want' will be what's meant for me. I've noticed this time and time again - and of course it is disappointing, but I just have to keep reminding myself that something is there for me ! I think that is where the Life in the Spirit seminar will help open up a few windows. :)

Have you started anything new this year that you'd like to share?
Any resolutions you are working on?
Apologies for a very late 'Happy New Year'. :)
xx
